Edward Anderson

Edward "Ed" Anderson, 70, of East Grand Forks, MN died Tuesday, July 20, 2010 in his home. Edward P. Anderson was born July 20, 1940 in Grand Forks, ND, the son of Ingvald and Margaret (Zimbrick) Anderson. He grew up and attended school in Fisher, MN and graduated from high school there. Ed married Marcella "Marcy" Wegscheid on May 18, 1968. They made their home in East Grand Forks and Ed worked for Dow Supply/Coulter Welding/Praxair as a "Super Pumper" for 31 years before retiring. Ed enjoyed spending time fishing, Kayaking and reading to his grand kids. Ed is survived by: Wife: Marcy Anderson - East Grand Forks Son: Dean (Leslie) Anderson - East Grand Forks Grand Children: Devin and Cameron Anderson - East Grand Forks Jake Rudy - Hatton Brother: Randy (Pam) Anderson - East Grand Forks Sisters: Betty Metzger - Fisher Mary (Harris) Mills - Grand Marias, MN Ed was preceded in death by an infant daughter, his parents and a brother Rodger. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the First Lutheran Church, East Grand Forks Food Shelf or the Salvation Army.
