Mae Tweten

Mae Tweten, 82, Edgewood Vista, East Grand Forks, MN, and formerly of Reynolds and Grand Forks, North Dakota died Friday, July 23, 2010 at Edgewood Vista. Mae Nesvig was born to James and Josephine (Broderson) Nesvig on May 30, 1928 at Buxton, North Dakota. She was raised and educated at Buxton. Mae Nesvig and Andrew Tweten were united in marriage on November 22, 1945 at Reynolds. They lived and farmed in the Reynolds area until retiring and moving to Grand forks in 2002. They enjoyed spending their winters in Arizona and summers at Maple Lake. She is survived by a son, Jerry (Debra) Tweten, Wafford Heights, CA; a grandson, Jerry Tweten, Jr., in Colorado; brother-in-law, John (Mary) Tweten, Grand Forks, ND; sister-in-law, Yvonne Tweten, Grand Forks; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother, Lynn Nesvig, and sisters, Janet Lerom, Yvonne Jenson, and Reta Hansen. Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 29, 2010 in St. Olaf Lutheran Church (on Highway 81 South, east and North of Reynolds, North Dakota.) Visitation: will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. Prayer Service Wednesday, July 28, 2010 in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks, ND Interment: St. Olaf - Americus Cemetery, Reynolds, North Dakota.
