Gary Lee Pilak

Gary L. Pilak, 66, of Grand Forks, ND died Friday, July 30, 2010 in the Larimore Good Samaritan Nursing Center, Larimore, ND. Gary Lee Pilak was born August 21, 1943 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Walter, Sr. and (Blondine) Pilak. He grew up and attended school in the Milwaukee area and graduated from Milwaukee Technical High School there. Gary enlisted in the United States Air Force and served for 28 years before being honorably discharged. He married Jacquelynn "Jackie" Kohl on September 28, 1968 in Milwaukee, WI. He then worked at the UND Aerospace Center for twenty years before retiring. Gary enjoyed spending time with his grandson Matthew, stamp collecting and making model airplanes. Pilak - Mesa, AZ Brothers: Cliff (Bernie) Pilak - Eagle, WI Randy (Diane) Pilak - Milwaukee, WI Wayne (Donna) Pilak - Greenfield, Tennessee Robert Pilak - Ocala, FL Sister: Evelyn Sallazo - Milwaukee, WI He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gerald, and Walter, Jr.; sisters, Ruth Rastelli, Shirley Rastelli and Linda Phillips.
