Msgt. Larry Walter Vanderhoff (Ret.) age 63, passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 from cancer surrounded by his loving family. Larry was born April 1, 1947 in St. Paul, MN to Roland and Wilhelmina (Hehn) Vanderhoff. He grew up in St. Paul and graduated from Mechanical Arts High School in 1965. In August 1965 he joined the United States Air Force where he proudly served until his retirement on September 1, 1990. In October 1967 he was married to Sandra Roberts in Springfield, MA. On November 4, 2000 he married Linda Rozmajzl in Grand Forks, ND. Lifelong hobbies included spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was active in Forks Rifle Club and EGF Rod and Gun club. He is survived by his wife, Linda, Grand Forks; children, Malissa Vanderhoff, Grand Forks, Sharon (Chad) Huebner, Grand Forks, Jessica (Eric) Furuglyas, Bloomsburg, PA, Katy Vogt (fiancé Steve), Grand Forks, Loren Vogt-Vanderhoff, Grand Forks and stepson, Steven Vogt, Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Brandon, Britnie, Justin, Kyle and great-grandson Ty; Brothers, Les, Bill, Willy; sister, Delores. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Frank and Don; sister-in-law, Viola. Funeral Services: will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 10, 2010 in St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 715 24th Ave. South, Grand Forks. Visitation: will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, August 9, 2010 at Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks and one hour prior to the service in the church. Interment: will be in Memorial Park North Cemetery, 1003 23rd St., North, Grand Forks.
