Lilian Speten

Lillian Speten, 96, of Grand Forks, ND died Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Woodside Village, Valley Memorial Homes, Grand Forks. Lillian Viola Rue was born August 19, 1914 the daughter of Sander and Kristine ( Nygaard) Rue in Greenbush, MN, where she attended school. She married Rudolph Speten on Nov. 7, 1945 in Mekinock, ND. They lived in Hoople, ND before moving to Grand Forks in 1955. Lillian is survived by: Daughters: Kristine Speten - Grand Forks Shirley (Don) Swartz - Brooklyn Park, MN Grandson: Jason (Jackie) Swartz Two Great Grandchildren: Halie and Rebekah Lillian was preceded in death by her husband; 7 brothers and 3 sisters.
