Myrtle Bangle

Myrtle Bangle, age 93, of Gilby, ND, passed away September 6, at Valley Eldercare Center. Myrtle (Bye) Bangle, was born February 17, 1917, on her parents farm near Gilby, ND. She graduated from Gilby Public High School. She was united in marriage to Ivan Bangle, on May 31, 1937. The couple made their home on Myrtle's parents farm where they farmed until their retirement in 1972. Myrtle enjoyed gardening and was a noted lefse maker. For the past 5 years she resided at Tufte Manor and the last 6 months she was at ValleyEldercare Center. She is survived by her sons, Larry (Gayle) Baudette, MN, Dan (Sandy) Hayes, KS, Robert(Paula) New Berm, NC; Daughter, Patti (Robert) Quandrud, Falls Creek, WI; Sister, Della Curtiss,Hatton Prairie Home, She was proceeded in death by her husband; daughter, Linda Olson; brother, Allen and sister Irene Martin.
