Sandra Jean Strauss

Sandra J. Strauss, 55, of East Grand Forks, MN died Saturday, September 25, 2010 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND. Sandra Jean Strauss was born in Grand Forks, ND on August 16, 1955 the daughter of Mancel and Evelyn (VanMill) Molstad. She grew up and attended school in Grand Forks. Sandra married Paul Strauss on July 1, 1995 at United Lutheran Church in Grand Forks. She worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant for Valley Memorial Homes and more recently St. Anne's Guest Home in Grand Forks. Sandra enjoyed spending time with grandchildren and making cakes for them regardless of how much pain she was in. She also took great pride in and enjoyed her job as a CNA. She enjoyed sewing, spending time at the lake and time with her dogs. She will be greatly missed. Survivors include: Husband Paul Strauss; son Shawn (Brenda) Kristjanson of Grand Forks, Daughter Kristy (Craig) Enger of New Richmond WI, Grand children Donovan, Jaycee Geoffery, and Maezee. Dogs Katie, Gizmo, Lucky. Sisters Fern (Emil) Clark of Minneapolis, Gail (Mark) O'Connell of Grand Forks, Debra (Rick) Braaten of Fertile and Brother Scott (Cheryl) Molstad of Elizabethtown Ky. Sister-in-Law Connie Molstad of WI and several nephews and nieces. Proceeded in death by father Mancel Molstad Jr, mother Evelyn Molstad, brother Mark Molstad, and nephew Shane O'Connell and father-in-law Joseph Strauss Sr. Many thanks to Christine & Jessica care and wonderful friendship you formed with our mother.
