Beverly Krejci

Beverly Ann Krejci, 76, of East Grand Forks, MN, died Tuesday, October 19, 2010 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, surrounded by her family Beverly Ann Fontaine was born in Rural East Grand Forks to George and Amelia "Lee" (Crystal) Fontaine on October 23, 1933. She grew up in East Grand Forks and attended and graduated from Sacred Heart. She married Jerome Krejci on June 21, 1955 and they lived their entire lives in East Grand Forks. Beverly devoted her life to her family. She loved to prepare family meals and especially enjoyed decorating and cooking for the holidays and major family events. In her later years, as her grandchildren celebrated First Eucharist, Confirmation, graduations or marriages, she always brought favorite bars, dishes, and desserts to contribute to the family celebration. Beverly was a Christian who, along with Jerome, raised their children in the Catholic Faith. Not only did they sacrifice to send their children to Catholic schools, Grandma was happy that her grandchildren all went to Catholic schools through their high school years. She supported Sacred Heart Schools and loved to attend athletic events, concerts and other school activities for both her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Jerome, East Grand Forks; her children, Diane (George) Zakula, Mankato, MN, Mark (Julie) Krejci, Moorhead, MN and their children Andrea (Phil) Paradis, and Patrick Krejci, and Mike (Denise) Krejci of East Grand Forks, and his children, Amber Krejci and Ashlyn Krejci; siblings, Kenneth Fontaine, and Jeanette (Robert) Larkin. She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Lavern Steinhilber, Ardell Fontaine, Howard Fontaine, Robert Fontaine, and John Fontaine. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 23, 2010 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 200 3rd ST. NW, East Grand Forks, Minnesota. Visitation: will be from 5 to 7 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service Friday, October 22, 2010 and one hour prior to the mass all in the church. Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Grand Forks. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Sacred Heart Development, or a charity of the donor's choice.
