Angela K. "Angie" Johnson, 36, Grand Forks, ND, and formerly of Grafton, ND, died Sunday, October 24, 2010, in Rochester, MN, after a brief illness. Angela Kay Bailly was born February 3, 1974, to Dawn and Patricia (Shelp) Bailly in Grafton. She was raised there and graduated from Grafton High School in 1992. She attended the University of North Dakota and worked for a number of companies in the area, including First National Bank (now Alerus Financial). She married Erik Johnson on Aug. 12, 1995, in Warsaw, ND while living in Grafton. She later returned to UND, earning an MBA in December 2007. She worked as a financial accountant at LM Wind Power. Angie was active in Relay for Life and South Middle School PTO. Involved in church youth programs, she served as a Sunday school teacher and taught religion classes in Grafton and at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Grand Forks. Time with her family always came first, but she also enjoyed reading, photography, and playing computer games. She is survived by her husband, Erik and daughter, Jessica, both of Grand Forks; parents, Dawn and Patricia Bailly, Grafton; sisters, Kim (Tim) Martin, Grafton, Dawna (Paul) Woinarowicz, Drayton, ND, Michelle (Pat) Kohler, Drayton, and Roberta (Josh) Malone, Grand Forks; and several aunts and uncles, including Leland Bailly of Cavalier, ND, who was like a "second father" to her. Angie was preceded in death by her grandparents. Mass of Christian Burial: will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, 216 Belmont Rd., Grand Forks. Visitation: will be Friday, October 29, 2010 from 5 to 7 p.m, with 7 p.m. prayer service at Amundson Funeral Home. 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks. Visitation will continue for the hour before the service in the church.
