Octavio Benavidez

Our beloved father, Octavio Cruz Benavidez went to rest with his Father on October 27, 2010. He lived at Valley Memorial Home Eldercare center of Grand Forks, ND. He was a wonderful father to 12 kids. Octavio was born in Cotulla, TX on March 22, 1941. He attended school and lived there most of his life. He worked as a mechanic most of his life and moved to North Dakota in 1987. He left behind 12 wonderful children he will miss; Leonardo R. Benavidez, David, Peter, Vanessa, Rebecca, Diane, Elisa, Nancy, Candace, Octavio Jr, Jesse and Lionel. He was preceded in death by his father, Aurelio V. Benavidez; his mother Cruz Cruz and brother Choche Benavidez. Funeral Services will be 2:30 PM Saturday, October 30, 2010 in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St, Grand Forks.
