Donald C. Adams

Donald Adams, 72 passed away on Sunday, November 7th, 2010 peacefully at home. Donald was born on May 8th, 1938 in Moorhead, MN . He attended St. Josephs Catholic elementary school. He attended Moorhead High school and went on to Dakota Business school. He started in the tire retread business but soon found his calling in the automotive business where he worked for Rydell Chevrolet but later opened America's Best Auto Center. He later retired and worked part time in the pay booth at Grand Forks Airport and then at the parking booth at UND. Donald was most happy around family and friends. Donald is predeceased by his parents Leo and Helen Adams of Moorhead, MN. He is survived by his three daughters, Cynthia Adams of St. Petersburg, FL, Cheryl Adams of Clearwater, FL and Lori Russel of West Linn, OR., sister Jane Taylor of Moorhead, Mn, brother Charles Adams of Sheppard, MT, brother John Adams of Polson MT, two grandsons Max and Joshua of West Linn, OR and several nieces and nephews. Donald enjoyed watching Naascar driver Tony Stewart and watching the Vikings. Donald was a great father, brother, and friend. He had a wonderful gift to make people laugh. He always looked at positive side of life. He will be greatly missed . Memorial Services will be held Friday, November 12th, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Amundson Funeral Home at 2975 S. 42nd Street .Grand Forks, ND 58201.
