Rosella I. Gust

Rosella Ferreira Gust, 81, of Grand Forks, ND died Thursday, December 2, 2010 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND surrounded by her family. Rosella Irene Zejdlik was born May 17, 1929 in Warren, MN the daughter of Joseph and Rose (Arnold) Zejdlik. She grew up and attended school in Tabor, MN. She then worked at Molly's Café and Enright's Café in East Grand Forks. Rosella operated the Wagon Wheel Bar and then worked at the Legion Bar in Michigan, ND. Rosella enjoyed family get togethers and she always said "the more people the better". She was an avid gardener and loved canning. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxilliary and the R.S.V.P- Senior Volunteer Program. Rosella is survived by: Special Friend - Ray Keaveny - East Grand Forks Son: Stephen (Carrie) Ferreira - Winnemucca, NV Daughters: Patty (Larry) Lizakowski - Grand Forks JoAnn (Jon) Brundin - Grand Forks Roseann (Tim) Lund - Grand Forks Brothers: Bernard (Marie) Zejdlik - Grand Forks Donald Zejdlik - East Grand Forks Sister: Bernice Hansen - Seattle, WA Grandchildren: Kathy (Tim) Ebens, Jeremy Lizakowski, Adam (Tonia) Lizakowski, Natalie (Tom) Perdue, Kristy (Mitch) Ertelt, Amy(Steve Jenson) Brundin, Jamie (Danielle) Brundin, Heather Carl, Ashley (Luis) Marti, Chris Lund and Katie (Jeff) Anderson. Great Grandchildren: Emily, David, Drew, McKayla, Zoe, Chelsea, Jon, Alexandria, Shelby, Steven, Gracie, Paige and Seth. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert; sister, Elsie Omlid and her parents. Memorials are preferred to St. Vincent's of Grand Forks. Mass of Christian burial will be Monday, December 6, 2010 at 11:00 AM in St. Michael's Catholic Church, 524 5th Ave. North, Grand Forks. Visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 7 PM with a prayer service at 7PM in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 South 42nd St., Grand Forks and also for the hour before the service in the church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Grand Forks.
