Everlena Goodrun

Everlena Goodrun, 84, Grand Forks, died Saturday, January 15, 2011 in Valley Memorial Homes Eldercare Center. Everlena Williams was born to Collis James "Tank" and Georgina (Anderson) Williams on December 5, 1926 at Savannah, Georgia. She grew up and attended school at Savannah. She married Otis Goodrun at Savannah. She lived in Stanford, Conneticut for 40 years prior to moving to Grand Forks in 2000. She was a member of the Gospel Outreach Church, Grand Forks and the VFW Auxiliary, East Grand Forks. Everlena is survived by her sons, Lemore Goodrun, Leesville, LA, Will Goodrun, Grand Forks, Ronnie (Ardis) Goodrun, Hatton, ND, and Jerry Goodrun, Philadelphia, PA; 16 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren; brothers, James (Nealiebell) Williams, Lonnie Williams, and Jerome Williams, all of Stewart, FL. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, sons, Ulysses, and Willie James, a daughter, Geraldine Hampton, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers. Services: 4:00 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2011 in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks. Visitation: one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Spring Interment: will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
