William Robert Brown

William Robert Brown, 78, formerly of Manvel, ND, passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at the Northwood Deaconess Health Center in Northwood, ND. William was born on January 3, 1933 to Roy and Esther (Herman) Brown. He grew up and attended school in Manvel. William joined the US Army where he served for one year. William worked as a farm hand for several farmers in the area. He was a member of the Manvel American Legion. William is survived by his brother, Roy (Rosemary)Brown of Grand Forks; sisters, Dorothy Wing of Indiana, Virginia (Glenn) Schmitt of Manvel, Joann Demars of Roseau, MN and Kathleen (Keith) Danks of Grand Forks and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Joe, George, Robert, Viola and Ruvia.
