Delores Irene Eisenzimmer "Grama Dee" Delores Irene Eisenzimmer, 79, Grand Forks, ND, passed away Feb. 14, 2011 in Valley Eldercare. Delores had endured a very long illness and was surrounded by her family when God took her ""Home". Delores was born November 20, 1931, the daughter of John and Eva (Thomas) Goetz of Knox, ND. She graduated from Knox High School in 1949. Delores was a homemaker. She loved to cook, bake, decorate and embroidery. She also loved music and dancing. Delores' children and grandchildren were the love of her life. Her sister, Diane, although separated most of their lives, had a very special "sister bond" and loved each other very much. Delores "adopted" all her children's and grandchildren's friends. That is how she became known by the name "Grama Dee". Delores had a special love for her family and friends. "A heart of gold, a special touch, our mother meant so very much". Delores was a member of St. Michael's Catholic church of Grand Forks. In her younger years, she was a member of the Altar Society and the American Legion Auxiliary. Delores married Joseph Eisenzimmer in 1951. To this union four children were born. She is survived by two children, Vicki Pederson, Grand Forks and Rick Eisenzimmer, Bemidji, MN; special sister, Diane (Tom) Cook, Clatskanie, OR; brother, Dennis (Regina) Goetz, Esmond, ND; grandchildren, Tasha (Matt), Shane (Courtney), Casy, Joey (Melissa), Jodi (Kelly), Dominic, Nichole (Jason), Chris (Mardee), Rachel and Dana (Justin); great grandchildren, Madisyn, Sophie "Dee", Katelynn, Emma, Chase, Kaysen Kevin, Ralley, Shanel, Autumn, Isla; special nieces and nephews, Rick, LeAnn, Jeannie and Kristi. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kevin and daughter-in-law, Teresa; infant daughter, Joann; infant grandsons, Nathan and Cannon; nephew, John; niece, Cheryl.
