Carla Hendrickson, 44, passed away Monday, March 7 in Valley Medical Center, Renton,WA after a long illness. Carla Ellen Hoogeveen was born October 3, 1966 in Los Angeles, CA to Anton and Willemyntje Hoogeveen. After high school she worked for PCL Construction Services in Irvine, CA where she met her future husband Brad. They were married July 17, 1993 in CA where they lived for 4 years. They were then transferred to Minneapolis where they were blessed with 4 children. She always wanted 2 boys and 2 girls and was blessed with exactly that. After 11 years in Minneapolis they were once again transferred to the Seattle, WA area where they have lived for thepast 4 years. Carla enjoyed scrapbooking, knitting and sewing, spending time with her family, volunteering at school functions and watching the children in their extracurricular events. She always loved that she married into a very big family (with most of her family living in Holland). Carla is survived by her husband Brad, children, Russell 13, Haley 12, Jeffrey 10, Amanda 8; along with her parents of Lake Forest, CA; brother, Robert (Kathy) Hoogeveen and their children, Connor, Alyssa and Owen of Brea, CA. Sister-in-law, Cheri (Fred) Desmarias and their children, Megan and Dylan, of Grand Forks, ND. Father and Mother-in-law Daryle and Colleen Hendrickson of Manvel, ND and Grandma Margaret Hendrickson of Oslo, MN. Funeral: 10:30 am, Tuesday, March 15 at St Timothys Catholic Church, Oldham Ave,Manvel, ND. Inurnment: in the spring for the family. There will be a luncheon after the funeral.
