Lila R. Infeld, 85, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on March 30, 2011 in 4000 Valley Square - Woodside Village in Grand Forks. Lila R. Lenz was born in Northwood, North Dakota on September 3, 1925 to Sergius and Olga (Rux) Lenz. She grew up in Holmes, North Dakota. Lila was united in marriage to Paul Infeld on March 1, 1945 ant they made their home in Larimore, North Dakota. Their marriage was blessed with 6 children. They moved to Grand Forks, North Dakota in 1963. Lila spent her life surrounded by the love of her family and spent many years taking care of children doing daycare. She loved country music and collecting knick-knacks. Lila was a member of Holmes United Methodist Church. Lila is survived by her six children, Paulette (Jacob) Dvorak, Beverly Aure, Jackie Kvamme, Debbie (Dennis) Morseth, Greg (Cathy) Infeld, and Lori (Jeff) Parent, all of Grand Forks; 17 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren. Lila was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul; her parents, Sergius and Olga Lenz; and son-in-law, Richard Aure. Memorial Services: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011 in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks. Visitation: will be one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
