Ronald Weaver

Ronald J. Weaver, 65, Grand Forks, died peacefully on Friday, April 8, 2011 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks. Ronald Joseph Weaver was born August 5, 1945 the son of John and Josie (Zachnow) Weaver. Ron was a hard worker and a devoted family man. Ron enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. His hobbies were woodworking, fishing, watching old movies. He was a huge NASCAR fan and a proud supporter of Sioux sports. He is survived by three daughters, Wendy Grabanski, Grand Forks Tammy Mundahl, Grand Forks, Jody Weaver, Grygla, MN; 5 grandchildren; a sister, Jean (Roger) Parent, and lots of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Geri; granddaughter, Destiny Weaver; brother, Eugene "Bud" Weaver; sisters, Judy Lindstrom, JoAnn Bock; and his parents, John and Josie Weaver. Memorial Services: 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2011 in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S 42nd St., Grand Forks, with visitation one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
