Vivian L. Myhre, 84, of Northwood, ND, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2011, at the Northwood Deaconess Health Center in Northwood. Vivian was born on November 24, 1926, in Minneapolis, MN to Sam and Clara Lundquist. She graduated from Minnehaha Academy High School in 1944. She received a BS degree from the St. Cloud Teacher's College in 1948. On April 13, 1957, Vivian married Harley Myhre of Kirkhoven, MN. They came to farm in Northwood, ND until retirement. Their son David was adopted in 1963, and daughter Diane in 1965. Vivian enjoyed fishing the lakes near the Twin Cities when her father had vacation from work. She was a member of the 1st Church of God in Grand Forks, benefitting greatly from the fellowship, as well as the Bible study and prayers. Vivian is survived by her daughter, Diane (Angel) Dominguez; brothers-in-law, Floyd & Milo Myhre; sisters-in-law, Lyla Hansen and Genivive Anderson, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harley and a son, David. **In lieu of flowers, the family prefers any memorials be sent to the First Church of God in Grand Forks, or the Grand Forks Salvation Army. FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at the First Church of God 2856 North Washington St. in Grand Forks. VISITATION: One hour prior to the funeral service at the church PRIVATE INTERMENT: Washington Lutheran Church Cemetery, Rural Northwood, ND.
