Berniece Eleanora Severinson

Berniece E. Severinson, 81, of Reynolds, ND passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND. Berniece was born on January 16, 1930, to Emil & Anna (Berg) Hagen in Admiral, Saskatchewan, Canada, where she grew up and attended schools. Berniece married Harold Severinson on November 20, 1947 in Admiral, Saskatchewan. They moved to Reynolds, ND just days after their marriage. Berniece was a homemaker who raised 5 children with her husband. Berniece enjoyed gardening, needle work, baking and spending time with her family being "Grandma". She was an extraordinarily loving and caring woman who will be missed by all that knew her. Berniece is survived by her daughters, Shirley (Bobby) Moore, Lynn (Steven) Solberg, Kathy (Ben) Hutton; sons, Everett (Cheryl) Severinson and Gordon (Liz) Severinson; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren (with 1 more on the way) and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold; 6 brothers and 2 sisters. FUNERAL SERVICES: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Zion Lutheran Church in Reynolds, ND. VISITATION: Wednesday, June 15, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at Amundson Funeral Home 2975 S. 42nd St. in Grand Forks. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. INTERMENT: Americus Cemetery in Reynolds.
