Roberta Ann Deraney

Roberta Ann Deraney, 73, formerly of Grand Forks, passed away July 4, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital in Detroit Lakes, MN. Bobbie was born on November 20, 1937 to Clarence & Clara (Hegg) Rusche in Grand Forks, ND. Roberta met Edward Deraney in Grand Forks where they were married for 43 years and raised their children. Bobbie loved life and to laugh. She was an expert roller skater in her teenage years. She also enjoyed baking, fishing and spending a few dollars at the casino. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie (Al) Natividad; son, Steve (Sue) Gravelle; sons, Marty Lawrence and Kevin Halverson; daughter, Lori (Jim) Federenko; and son, Todd (Tami) Deraney; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother; Lynn Rusche; sister, Pamela (Clayton) Coble; several nieces and nephews. Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward and daughter, Linda Brightman. Memorial Services: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Amundson Funeral Home 2975 S. 42nd St. Grand Forks, ND. Visitation: one hour prior to the Memorial Service at Amundson's. Inurnment: Calvary Cemetery of Grand Forks, ND. Luncheon: Following the graveside service at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Grand Forks.
