Charles A. "Harley Charley" Kelly, died Saturday, July 9, 2011 near Grand Forks, ND. Charles Allen Kelly was born January 23, 1954 in Grand Forks, ND the son of Leonard and Annabelle (Mullan) Kelly. He was raised and educated in rural Grand Forks and graduated from Midway High School. Charley moved to St. Paul, MN where he worked for Tasty Bakery for a short time as a young man. He then returned to rural Grand Forks to work on the farm which was his true passion in life. Charley loved riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He and his wife attended many motorcycle rallies. He took a great interest in history and was an avid reader. He also enjoyed farming and watching his crops grow, there was nothing bettter to him than a clean crop row. He spent many hours out in the field and took great pride in his family farm. He was a co-op member of amazimg grains and enjoyed many bowls of soup with friends. He was a member of the Kem Temple Shriners. Every where Charley went he would find someone to share with and be their friend. He had an incredible gift of gab. Charley married Michelle Srnsky on Febuary 15, 2005 at A Special Memory Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas, NV. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and daughter. He attended many of Salena's Basketball games and family functions with his very large extended family. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed. Charley is survived by his wife Michelle, along with his daughter, Salena Kelly, Grand Forks; step children, Vance (Dayna Lopez) Cadreau, Eden Prairie, MN and Dustin Srnsky, Grand Forks; grandchildren, Mariah Cadreau, Sean Cadreau and Emily "Anne" Sims; mother, Annabelle Kelly, Grand Forks; brother, Duane (Laverne) Kelly, Forest River, ND; sister, Pat Sivertson, Grand Forks; father and mother-in-law, Robert and Lois Srnsky, Grand Forks; sister-in-law, Sharrie (Bob) Nelson, Grand Forks; Brothers-in-law, Robbie (Kristi Bouvette) Srnsky and Steve Srnsky both of Grand Forks and Troy (Tamra) Srnsky of Warren, MN along with many nieces and nephews. Charlie was preceded in death by his father, Leonard. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 13, 2011 in University Lutheran Church of Grand Forks, ND. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Middle Grove Cemetery near Mekinock, ND
