Robert E. Lee, 78, Aneta, North Dakota, and formerly of Grand Forks, North Dakota, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011 in Aneta Parkview Health Center, Aneta, North Dakota. Robert Eugene Lee was born to Robert E. and Gladys M. (Sears) Lee on October 18, 1932 in Grand Forks. He graduated from St. James High School in Grand Forks. Robert was a student for 3 years at Mayville State College in the education department. He worked in business sales in Grand Forks. Robert served in the United States Army from November 12, 1952 until being honorably discharged from service on October 27, 1954. Robert is survived by his children, Robyn (Tim) Chapman, Andover, MN, Renae Lee, Warren, MN, Roanne Malm, Grand Forks, and Rory Lee, Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Craig Chapman, Christopher Chapman, Heather Chapman, Josh Bullinger, Heidi Bullinger, Ashley Bullinger, Aly Malm, Jake Malm; great-grandson, Cole Bullinger; brothers, James E. (Ruth) Lee, Elko, NV, John P. Lee, Grand Forks, Lawrence (Rita) Lee, Anahiem, CA, William Lee, New Ulm, MN; sister, Colleen M. Lee, Fargo, ND; brother-in-law, Elroy Rostberg. He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Lucience Rostberg a brother, V. Jerome Lee; and a son-in-law, Matthew Malm. Memorial Service: 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 15, 2011 in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment: Memorial Park Cemetery North, Grand Forks.
