Lawrence Ewals

Lawrence "Larry" N. Ewal, 53, died July 8, 2011 at his home in Grand Forks. Larry was born November 8, 1957, in Minot, ND to Norbert & Ernestine (Schaffer) Ewals. He attended St. Anthony's in Fargo-Fitzgerald Middle School in Mankato and graduated from Red Wing Central in Red Wing, MN. Larry worked for the Grand Forks County Hwy Dept. for 12 years. Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting pool and playing softball. He also loved playing guitar. Larry is survived by his daughter, Amber; son, Billy; sister, Linda (Pat); and the mother of Amber & Billy, Jeannie. He was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles. MEMORIAL SERVICES: 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at Amundson Funeral Home 2975 S. 42nd St. Grand Forks, ND. VISITATION: One hour prior to the memorial service at Amundson's. INURNMENT: Sacred Heart Cemetery of Dent, MN.
