Geraldine S. Larson

Geraldine "Gerry" Larson, 77, passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at 4000 Valley Square-Woodside Village. Gerry was born November 13, 1933 in Martin, North Dakota to Arthur L. and Lydia (Lutz) Schmidt. She graduated from Bisbee High School in 1952. She earned her Bachelors of Nursing from Jamestown College in 1956. Gerry married Stuart J. Larson on June 24, 1956 in Goodrich, North Dakota. Gerry is survived by her husband, Stuart; daughter, Andrea (Paul) Pansegrau, Grand Forks; son, John (Beth) Larson, Ely, Iowa; grandchildren, Christopher and Lydia Pansegrau, Dane and Jill Larson; sister Marlene (Emil) Weippert, Fargo, ND; brother, Lloyd (Janice) Schmidt, Kimberling City, MO; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jack and Lois Larson, Bisbee, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, John and Hilda Larson, brother and sister-in-law, Sheldon and Audrey Schmidt; and sister-in-law, Cynthia Lerfald. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Oak Grove Lutheran High School, 124 N. Terrace, Fargo, ND 58102. Memorial Service: will be Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1710 Cherry St., Grand Forks. Visitation: one hour prior to the service in the church.
