Diana (Soderquist) Carlson

Diana L. (Soderquist) Carlson, 43, Grand Forks, ND died Saturday, August 6, 2011 quietly at home due to undiagnosed health issues. Diana Lee Soderquist was born August 15, 1967 in Grand Forks, ND the daughter of Ronald and Cyndie (Trimborn) Soderquist. She was raised and educated in Grand Forks attending Winship Elementary then Valley Middle School before graduating from Central High School in 1985. She attended and graduated from Ackers Business College. Diana was currently pursuing her bachelor's degree from UND while working for the parking enforcement office there. Diana dearly loved her children, her animals and her job. She enjoyed reading and backyard fires. And she always dreamed of moving back to Portland, Oregon. Survivors include her children, Michelle Knaus-Soderquist and Tyler Carlson, both of Grand Forks; parents, Ronald and Cyndie Soderquist, Grand Forks; siblings, Ron Soderquist, Jr, Fargo, ND, Sally Soderquist, Grand Forks and Zackary Soderquist, Lincoln, NE; grandmother, Helen Soderquist, Galesburg, IL and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Everett Soderquist and Herman "Bud" and Lois Trimborn. Diana touched many lives and will truly be missed by all who knew her.
