Glenn A. Hayertz

March 19, 1918 — August 28, 2011

Glenn Anton Hayertz passed away August 28th, 2011 at home, surrounded by his family who loved him so much ---- his daughter Pearl holding his right hand while his Grandson, Noah, held his left hand. He was born March 19th , 1918 in Alice ND to Emil and Ida Hayertz. After completing his schooling, he enlisted in the US Air Force and spent his life wearing the US Air Force blue. Upon retiring from the Air Force, he moved his family back to North Dakota, the place he loved most, and worked for Boeing Aircraft. He married Paula Marie Krenn in 1947 while stationed in Garmisch Germany and they spent 64 years together, living in all parts of the world and raising their family. He was a devoted military man who never missed a day of work and a loving family man who was dedicated to his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He had a wonderful sense of humor that he displayed until his passing that will be remembered by all who knew him and stories about his unique expressions will be passed on for generations to come. He is survived by his wife Paula, daughter Pearl, Grand Forks; sons George, Fargo, ND, and Henry, Park River North Dakota. He is also survived by Granddaughter Tiffany, Grandsons Michael and Noah and Great Grandchildren; Cade, Chase, and Noah David. His older sister, Pearl Engebretson, Chico California, also survives him.
