Eleanor Johnson

Mrs. Eleanor Mae Johnson, age 90, of Duluth, GA passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-five years, Harvey J. Johnson. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Alan H. Nix, Duluth, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Roger Johnson and Dr. Dona Lee Andrew, Jackson, MS; three grandchildren, Stacy and Gibbs Knotts, Melissa and Sean Harrington and Leslie Nix; and three great grandchildren, Chase Harrington. Eva Harrington and Whitney Knotts. Mrs. Johnson was born February 10, 1921 in Harvey, ND. She was a 1939 graduate of Central High School in Grand Forks, ND, a graduate of the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor's Degree and a graduate of Northwestern University where she received her Medical Technology Degree. She was a retired Medical Technologist from Northwestern Hospital. She was a member of the Eastern Star, a member of the P.E.O., a member of the Tri Delta Sorority, a member of the Sons of Norway and a member of the United Lutheran Church in Grand Forks in North Dakota. Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, September 17, 2011 in United Lutheran Church of Grand Forks, ND. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery of Grand Forks, ND
