Jeanette Anderson

Jeanette A. Anderson, 69, Grand Forks, ND died Wednesday, October 5, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. Jeanette Ann Braaten was born May 17, 1942 in Northwood, ND the daughter of Ole and Clara Braaten. She was raised and educated in Hatton, ND. Jeanette married Lyle Anderson on October 29, 1960 at Sharon Lutheran Church in Grand Forks, ND. They lived in Grand Forks where Jeanette supported her husband's construction company for 37 years and was a full time stay at home mom. After raising her family, she worked part time at American Woods in Grand Forks. Jeanette enjoyed spending the winters in Florida with her husband and their many close friends and hosting family and friends in their home. Her greatest joy in life came from spending time with her granddaughters. Survivors include her husband, Lyle, Grand Forks, ND; son, Jack (Renee) Anderson, Grand Forks; daughter, Lisa (Mike) Christy, Shakopee, MN and three granddaughters, Triana, Holly and Nicole. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Karen and a brother, Jim.
