Troy Robert Srnsky

July 15, 1971 — October 16, 2011

Troy Robert Srnsky, 40, Beloved Husband, Dad, Son, Baby Brother, Uncle, Cousin and Dear friend to many, died in a motor vehicle accident on Sunday, October 16, 2011 in rural Polk County, Minnesota. Troy was born July 15, 1971, in Grand Forks, ND, the son of Robert & Lois (Bratvold) Srnsky. Troy grew up and graduated from Community High School in Grand Forks. He graduated from Bismarck State College in 2000 with a degree in Electrical line work. Troy and Tamra met in January 1990, and in July of 1991 their son Zachary was born. Troy and Tamra (Bushaw) were united in marriage on June 28th, 1997 at Calvary Lutheran Church, GF. They lived in Grand Forks until 2001 when they moved to Warren, MN. Troy worked for Rydell Chevrolet for several years before attending Bismarck State College. He then worked two seasons at Nodak Electric before pursuing his career with PKM Electric Coop in Warren, MN for the last ten years. He meant the world to his family, with his compassion, his patience, his caring and his love for them. No words can describe the amount of love his wife and son had for him and always will have for him. Troy's passion in life was spending time with his family and friends whether it was fishing, hunting, or just being outdoors. He loved catfishing on the Red River. He fished in many of the Cats Incredible Tournaments through out the years. He and his brother-in-law Darwin Lunski took 1st place in 2005. He also won in 2009 with his son Zachary, catching a tournament record of 91.5 lbs of fish. He also loved hunting deer and ice fishing. As long as he could be outdoors he was happy! Troy never met a person he didn't like. It is hard to describe the countless number of people he touched with his personality, and acts of kindness. He had a zest for life and lived it to the fullest. He was truly a people person. He enjoyed talking with people whether they were life long friends or someone he had just met. He always had a smile on his face and a story to share. Our Troy Boy will truly be missed by everyone, and he will forever be in our hearts. He is now our Angel in Heaven watching over all of us. We love you Troy. Troy is survived by his wife, Tamra; son, Zachary; man's best friend, Toby; parents, Robert and Lois Srnsky, GF; sisters, Sharrie (Bob) Nelson, GF; Shelly Kelly, GF; brothers, Robbie (Kristi) Srnsky, GF; Steve (Renae) Srnsky, GF; father in law, Thomas (Karen) Bushaw, Manvel; sister in law, Diane (Darwin) Lunski, GF; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
