Eugene Nordrum

Eugene "Gene" S. Nordrum, 73, of Grand Forks, ND died October 21, 2011 in his home in Grand Forks. Eugene S. Nordrum was born on December 4, 1937 in Grand Forks, ND the son of Marvin and Pearl (Hanson) Nordrum. He grew up and attended school in East Grand Forks and Graduated from East Grand Forks Senior High in 1956. He married Marlene Noyes on June 18, 1960. Gene worked for various construction companies before starting his own business as Gene Nordrum Construction. Eugene is survived by: Wife: Marlene Nordrum Daughter: Darcie Englund Sons: Mike Nordrum Scott Nordrum Greg (Melissa) Nordrum Brothers: Richard (Andrew) Robert (Patty) Nordrum Sisters: Yvonne (Raymond) Lilleoien Sonja (Ronald) Knudson Julie (Doug) Barclay Grandchildren: Derek, Ryan, Brooke, Josh, Ivey, Matt and Eric. Three Great Grand Children He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Pearl and a nephew, Todd Knudson. As per his request Gene donated his body to the UND Medical School and his corneas to a person in need.
