Wayne Blasky

Wayne H. Blasky, 57, Grand Forks, ND died Thursday, October 27, 2011 near McCanna, ND. Wayne was born May 26, 1954 in Northwood, ND the son of Henry and Viola (Northagen) Blasky. He attended school in Inkster, ND and graduated from Midway High School. Wayne worked most of his life as a truck driver, first for his father and later for Roger Love Trucking. Wayne currently owned and operated Wayne Blasky Trucking of Grand Forks. Wayne was actively involved in the Forks Karting Association. He also loved hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and special time with his grandson, Ryder. Wayne married Peggy Stevens on August 7, 1976 in Fordville, ND. She survives along with their son, Nathan (Christine) Blasky, Grand Forks; grandson, Ryder Wayne Blasky, Grand Forks; brothers, Randy (Wendy) Blasky, and Roger (Jill) Blasky, Fordville, ND; father-in-law, Glenn Stevens and mother-in-law, Shirley Stevens, Grand Forks and several nieces and nephews. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents.
