William T. "Bill" Lunski, 68, Grand Forks, ND died Monday, November 14, 2011 in his home. Bill was born August 26, 1943 in Grand Forks, ND the son of William and Ida Lunski. He was raised and educated in Grand Forks. Bill began working as an apprentice mason for Armond Kossow Masonry of Grand Forks. He later founded Bill Lunski Construction Co which he owned and operated for 40 years. Bill enjoyed the outdoors and family weekends at Maple Lake, MN. He also enjoyed racing and working on cars and trailers. He liked to play cards and loved spending time with his grandkids. He married Connie Kise on September 29, 1962 in Grand Forks. She survives along with children, Gary (Charlene) Lunski, Julie (Brian) Kamrowski and Janie (Dean) Braaten all of Grand Forks; grandchildren, Casey, Alisha, Ryan and Matt; great grandchildren, Aidan and Chloe; brother, Don (Shirley) Lunski, Grand Forks; sisters, Eva (Al) Bergstrom and Ruth (Terry) Jensen, both of Grand Forks. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Joe and a grandson Brandon Lunski. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 PM Friday, November 18, 2011 in St. Michael's Catholic Church of Grand Forks. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM with a 7:30 PM Prayer Service in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks, ND. Visitation will continue for the hour before the service in the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery South, Grand Forks, ND.
