Agnes Anderson

Agnes Anderson, 96, of Grand Forks, died Friday, December 16, 2011 at 4000 Valley Square Woodside Village in Grand Forks. Agnes was born December 29, 1914 in Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of Hans & Marin Anderson. She grew up and attended schools in Grand Forks. Agnes married Iver Anderson on May 1, 1932. Agnes was a homemaker and a mother of 7 children. She enjoyed baking and spending time with her family. Agnes is survived by her children; Kenneth (Mertrice) Anderson, Donald (Cathy) Anderson, Willis (Lorraine) Anderson, Shirley (Larry) Cobert and Bonnie Knoll, all of Grand Forks; 22 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Iver; children, Jean Hangsleben and Gerald Anderson; brother, Henry; sisters, Olga Gothberg, Annie Yetter and Evelyn Lowe. FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Amundson Funeral Home 2975 S. 42nd St. Grand Forks, ND. VISITATION: One hour prior to the funeral service at Amundson's. INTERMENT: Memorial Park Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
