Theresa Devos

Theresa A. Devos, 82, Grand Forks, died Sunday, January 1, 2012 in Valley Memorial Homes Eldercare Center, Grand Forks. Theresa Pinta was born to Walter and Lucy (Kroll) Pinta on October 26, 1929 at Grafton, North Dakota. She was raised and educated at Grafton. Theresa Pinta and Raymond Devos were united in marriage on June 2, 1948 at Grafton. Theresa was employed by Red Dot Foods and retired from J.R. Simplot in 1993. Theresa enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and traveling. She is survived by a son, Rodney (Jill Gregoire) Devos, Grand Forks; grandson, Aaron (Andrea Newman) Devos; granddaughter, Sarah (Devos) and Mathew Larson; great grandchildren, Danika and Carter Devos; great-granddaughter, Adalynn Larson; sister-in-law, Marian Devos; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Devos who died January 20, 2003; her parents, sisters, Dorothy Wayashek and Alice Barsness. Mass of Christian Burial: 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2012 in Holy Family Catholic Church, 1018 18th Ave., South, Grand Forks. Visitation: one hour prior to the mass in the church. Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Grand Forks. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to Holy Family Catholic Church Scholarship Fund.
