Janice "Jan" M. Iverson, 75, of Hatton, ND, passed away with her loving family by her side Sunday, January 22, 2012 at the Luther Memorial Home in Mayville, ND. Jan was born September 14, 1936 in Helma, MN, the daughter of Mable (Rice) & Oliver Kjellberg. She attended school in Goodrich, MN, and college at Northland Tech in East Grand Forks, MN. She married Raymond "Bud" McEnelly on February 16, 1957. They had 2 children, Craig and Deanne. Raymond died in 1979. Jan married Don Iverson on October 17, 1981. Together they made their home on a farmstead near Golden Lake. She worked as the Dietary Manager at the East Grand Forks Good Samaritan Home. Jan was the best bun and pancake maker in the world. She enjoyed bowling league, camping, baking, bowling and spending time at the lake and farm. She is survived by her husband; Don, children; Deanne Gifford, Craig (Robin) McEnelly, Vicky (Bill) Sauerwein, Carol Sonnenberg, Rick Iverson and Jeannie Strande; siblings, Jerry Kjellberg, Jim (Jan) Kjellberg, Dwight Kjellberg, Olive Schroeder and Patricia Kjellberg; brothers and sisters-in-law; Betty Wold, Phyllis Wedin, Jack (Carol) Iverson, Jim Iverson, Bob (Avis) Iverson, Bill Iverson, Gary Iverson, Rodney (Anita) Iverson, Peggy (Bob) Gunderson, Ardelle Parker & Bruce (Cindy) Iverson; 24 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews. Jan was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Raymond; brother, Jack Kjellberg; step-daughter, Linda Hoverson and grandson, Joshua Iverson. FUNERAL SERVICES: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Augustana Lutheran Church 520 University Ave. in Grand Forks. VISITATION: 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. with a 5:30 p.m. prayer service on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Amundson Funeral Home 2975 S. 42nd St. Grand Forks, ND.
