Dolores Ruth Boedker

Beloved Mother and Grandmother, Dolores Ruth Boedker, 90, of Grand Forks, ND died Saturday, January, 28, 2012 in Altru Hospital. Dolores R. Wilson was born November 20, 1921 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Thomas and Bessie (Burns) Wilson. She grew up and graduated from Norwood High School in Norwood, OH. Dolores married Charles Boedker on May 21, 1948. She worked for General Electric Company in Cincinnati, OH until retirement. The things Dolores cherished most were spending time with her daughters and the many visits from her grandchildren and great grandsons. As recently as last week she taught her 7 month old great grandson Evan how to wave and say "bye-bye". Dolores was an avid reader, loved watching baseball games, playing bingo and going to exercise class with her friends at Parkview Terrace. She will be remembered by all who knew her, for her sweet, gentle and kind nature. Dolores is survived by: Daughters: Sherrie (Bob) LeQuire - Grand Forks Sheila Scardina - Grand Forks Grandchildren: Joshua Scardina, Nathan LeQuire, Nessa LeQuire, Nara LeQuire (Steve Georgiou) and Alexi LeQuire. Great Grandson's: Peter and Evan Geogiou; Seth LeQuire. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Virginia; and husband Charles. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at 1:00 PM in Amundson Funeral Home. 2975 south 42nd St., Grand Forks.
