Lyle Jeffery

Lyle C. Jeffery, 57, Grand Forks, died Sunday, March 4, 2012 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks. Lyle Charles Jeffery was born in East Grand Forks, Minnesota on April 26, 1954 to Donald and Margrette (Beltz) Jeffery. He attended schools in East Grand Forks, graduating from East Grand Forks Senior High School in 1973. Lyle attended the AVTI welding program. Lyle Jeffery and Sherri Wixo were united in marriage on July 24, 1976 in Grand Forks. They lived in the Grand Forks area after their marriage. Lyle was employed by UND as a custodian and by East Grand Forks Senior High School for many years. Lyle is survived by his wife, Sherri, Grand Forks; two children, Shawna Jeffery and Chris Jeffery, both of Grand Forks; 3 grandchildren, Ashely, Haley and Tristen; siblings, Ronald (Dorothy) Jeffery, LaCrosse, WI, Margaret (Richard) Marquart, La Crosse, WI, Terry (Earl) Kaste, East Grand Forks, MN, Phillip Jeffery, East Grand Forks, MN, Cindy (Jeff) Solway, Williston, ND, Diana Briemer, Grand Forks, Michael Jeffery, Grand Forks, and Kim (Paul) Leasure, Florida; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Linda. Funeral Services: 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2012 in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks with visitation for one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Interment: will be later in the Spring at Bellevue Cemetery, Larimore, North Dakota.
