Wayne Thomas Kuzel

Wayne T. Kuzel, 64, of Grand Forks, ND died Sunday, March 25, 2012 in Naples, Florida. Wayne was born in Grand Forks, ND, March 8, 1948, to Frank J. Kuzel and Bernadette (Boushee) Kuzel. He graduated from St James High School in 1966, and attended the University of North Dakota. In August 1970 he married Susan M. Albaugh at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Grand Forks, ND. He was a heavy equipment operator with Minnkota Power for 30 years. Wayne is survived by wife, Susan of Grand Forks; daughter, Jennifer B. Smith (Eric) of 29 Palms, California ; son, Matthew F. Kuzel (Emily) of Hallock, MN and grandsons Dylan Smith, Alexander Kuzel and Evan Kuzel. Also surviving are sisters, Bonnie Brouse of Winona, MN. Deb Bakken (Arthur) and Karen (Rick) Olson both of Grand Forks, ND. Brother, Mark Kuzel of Oakdale, MN; Stepfather, Roy Schnebli of Grand Forks, ND; step brother & sister Rod Schnebli (Diane) and Roxanne Lunski both of Grand Forks, ND. Brother - in- law, Mickey (Dixie) Albaugh of Grand Forks, N.D. and sister-in-law, Judith Kuzel. Several nieces and nephews. Special aunt, Audrey Burfening of Grand Forks, ND. Preceding him in death were his parents and his brother, Dale.
