Margurette Sellheim

Margurette (Marge) May Indridason was born on May 25, 1927, in Mountain, North Dakota, to Sigurdur and Johanna (Johnson) Indridason. She was raised in Mountain and attended school and worked near there. On January 28, 1944, she married Donald Sellheim at Oslo, Minnesota. After a short tour in the military, they settled and farmed near Hensel, ND for 17 years. In 1963 they moved to Grand Forks where Marge worked at different jobs until finishing her career in the laundry department at United (Altru) Hospital, retiring in 1989 after 14 years there. Marge was a member of University Lutheran Church. She dedicated her life to her family. Marge is survived by her husband, Donald; children, Donavon (Jean) Sellheim of Grand Forks, ND, Diana (Greg) Henke of Winneconne, WI, and Dean Sellheim of Fargo, ND; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a special sister-in-law, Kay Lindell; special friend, Heidi Wolf; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and neices and nephews She was preceded in death by an infant daughter Deborah Faye; a granddaughter Wendy Sellheim Spenst; her parents, brothers: Bennie Johannesson, Milton lndridason, Laverne Indridason, and Kenneth Indridason; sisters: Gladys Lund, Myrtle Byron, Dorothy Kristjanson, and Hope Hanson. Marge Sellheim, age 84, of Grand Forks died Easter Sunday, April 8 2012, in her home surrounded by her family. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Friday, April 13, 2012 in University Lutheran Church of Grand Forks, ND. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the church. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery of St. Thomas, ND In Lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Wendy Sellheim Spenst Memorial Scholarship Endowment at the University of North Dakota Foundation
