Kathy Lou Walter

Kathy Lou Walter, 60, of Grand Forks, passed away April 10, 2012 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks. Kathy was born on January 27, 1952, the daughter of Floyd & Beatrice (Werre) Walter in Grand Forks, where she grew up and attended school. In her healthier days, Kathy enjoyed camping, canoeing, and driving in her car. She enjoyed every minute she had with her grandbabies, baking together, reading books, watching movies or just talking. She looked forward to her 3 season porch where she watched her hummingbirds. Kathy's family & friends were the most important things in her life. Kathy is survived by her husband, Curt Lealos; daughter, Jennifer Maples; sons, Michael Maples & Brandon Lealos; brother, Keith; sisters, Karen, Kim and Kandy and 4 beautiful grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Kevin Kranzler. **In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
