Richard "Dick" G. Enger, 61, of Grand Forks, died Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Altru Hosptial in Grand Forks, surrounded by his loving family. Dick was born April 20, 1950 to Henry Allan & Marcella (Mayer) Enger in Grand Forks, ND, where he grew up and attended school. Dick retired from Concrete Sectional Incorporated after 30+ years of service. He enjoyed restoring and showing classic cars, keeping up his garden, and was famous for his canning of hot sauce, pickles and beets. Dick is survived by his mother, Marcella of Grand Forks; children, Stacie (Tim) Smith of AR, Craig (Kristy) Enger of WI, Jill (Larry) Jahnke of Grand Forks, and Curtis Enger of Grand Forks, 9 grandchildren; brothers, Joe (Wanda) Enger of MT, Jim Enger of MN, Duane (Margaret) Enger of MT, Allan Enger of MN; sisters, Helen Enger of MO and Alice Lund of Grand Forks; many nieces & nephews, and his beloved dog, Jasmine.
