Berniece Juliette Fordyce

Berniece J. Fordyce, 94, of Grand Forks, passed away Monday, April 23, 2012, at Valley Eldercare Center in Grand Forks. Berniece was born May 15, 1917, in Plaza, ND, the daughter of Julius & Bella (Reese) Wold. She married Ira V. Fordyce on November 4, 1941 in Macon, GA. Ira passed away Feb. 15, 1987. Berniece is survived by her children, Vicki (Russell) Bunker of Gilby, ND, Gregory (Pam) Fordyce of Rapid City, SD, Marilynn (Richard) Hagan of Grand Forks; grandchildren, Christopher (Sharon) Bunker, Timothy Bunker, Jonathon (Susan) Bunker, Mathew Bunker, Kaci (Chris) Duke, Brett Fordyce, Rick (Brenda) York, Damon (Melonie) York, Mark (Kim) York, Angie (Rod) Haugen, Amber Monette, Angela (Jeff) Biehl, Alex (Laura) Hagan, Seth (Tracy) Hagan, Danielle (Sam) Christopher; great-grandchildren, Edward, Christopher, Caitlin, Emma, Jonathan, Shawna, Chris, Amanda, Jared, Nathan, Seth, Allison, Jessica, Ryan, Kayla, Natasha, Alexis and Brody; daughter-in-law, Betty Fordyce; sister-in-law, Bernice Wold and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ira; son, Dennis; siblings, Lillian (Vernon) Patterson, Wendell Wold, Gladys (Norman) Moen, Murial (Carl) Branstetter, Beatrice Wold, Vernon (Ardell) Wold, Kenneth Wold, Lois (Bjorn) Bjelke, DeWane Wold, Donna Lou Wold, and Jackie Wold. FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, Calvary Lutheran Church 1405 9th St. S. in Grand Forks VISITATION: 5:00-7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service on Tuesday, April 24 at Amundson Funeral Home 2975 S. 42nd St. Grand Forks, ND. The visitation will continue for the hour prior to the funeral service at the church. INTERMENT: Memorial Park South Cemetery of Grand Forks.
