Arne Todd Sorteberg

Arne Todd Sorteberg, 50, of Grand Forks, ND died Saturday, May 26, 2012 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks. Arne T. Sorteberg was born October 30, 1961 the son of Vernon and Norma (Haaby) Sorteberg. He grew up and attended school in Grand Forks and graduated from Red River High School in 1979. Arne worked for Cirrus Aircraft in Grand Forks for ten years before retiring due to his health. Arne enjoyed wood working, especially with his father Vernon. He built gas powered remote controlled cars and spending time fishing on the lake. He will be greatly missed. Arne is survived by: Mother: Norma Sorteberg Sisters: Roxanne (Fred) Stephens Debra Jacobson Julie Sorteberg Brother: David (Margaret) Sorteberg Special Friend: Sheila Nelson His cat: Carmen He was preceded in death by his father Vernon Sorteberg. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 31st, 2012 at 11:00 AM in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 South 42nd St., Grand Forks. Visitation will be held for one hour before the service in the funeral home.
