Benora Rothenberger

Benora Rothenberger, 97, passed away on Friday, August 17, 2012, at her home at Edgewood Vista in East Grand Forks, MN. Benora was born November 10, 1914, in Lankin, ND, the daughter of Martin & Clara (Hanstad) Hippie. She grew up and attended school in Fordville, ND. Benora married David Rothenberger August, 10, 1935 in Crookston, MN. She was a homemaker. David died in 1983. She enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family. Benora is survived by her sons; James (Jane) Rothenberger, Jerry (Faye) Rothenberger, Roger Rothenberger; daughters, Lois Paige, Donna (Melvin) Hove, Linda (Larry) Uglem; brothers, Hank Hippie, Lester Hippie and Donald (Toni) Hippie; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, David; 13 siblings and granddaughter, Dianna; and great-grandsons, Wayne & Donald. FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Sharon Lutheran Church 1720 S. 20th St. in Grand Forks. VISITATION: One hour prior to the service at the church. INTERMENT: Memorial Park Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
