Janet Faye Johnson

Janet F. Johnson, 56, of rural Buxton, ND died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, surrounded by her family, in the Prairie Village Nursing Center, Hatton, ND. Janet Faye Haroldson was born January 6, 1956 the daughter if Gene and Thelma (Vigen) Haroldson. She was confirmed at the Bygland Lutheran Church. She grew up and attended grade school in East Grand Forks and graduated from East Grand Forks Senior High. She married Lawrence Johnson on April 19, 1991 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Janet worked for the University of Nebraska as a cook before moving to rural Buxton with her husband Lawrence. Janet was very fond of all animals. She enjoyed riding horses near her home in Buxton. She will be greatly missed. Janet is survived by: Husband: Lawrence - rural Buxton, ND Sons: Joe(Jennifer) Breidenbach - Thompson, ND Larry (Leann) Breidenbach- Reynolds, ND Sister: JoAnn (Lyle) Geiselhart - Fisher, MN Brothers: Harlan (Sandy) Haroldson - Fosston, MN Larry Haroldson Brother-in-law: Keith Hanson - Reynolds, ND Grandchildren: Logan and Ava Janet was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Barbara Hanson. The family would like to extend a special thank you for the excellent care Janet received from the Prairie Village Nursing Center in Hatton and to the Hospice of the Red River Valley. Memorial services will be Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 2:00 PM in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 south 42nd St., Grand Forks. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM with a prayer service at 7PM in the funeral home. Interment will be in the Bethany Cemetery, rural Buxton, ND.
