Mark Huebner

Mark Huebner, 58, Gilby, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Altru Hospital. Mark was born in Oakes, North Dakota on November 19, 1953, the son of Kenneth and Rosalind Huebner. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith in Oakes. Mark attended school in Oakes until the family moved to Grand Forks in 1969. He graduated from Central High School and then attended Aakers Business College. In September of 1977, Mark married Anita Johnson and their union was blessed by three children. Mark worked in construction, building and moving houses, and auto restoration. He loved to dance and to work on cars. Mark is survived by his children; Kristopher (Lexie) Huebner, Grand Forks, Andrea (Jason) Eichhorst, East Grand Forks, Matthew Huebner, Warren, MN, siblings, Cathy, Diane, Virginia, Ady, Bob, and Stan, special friend Loretta Berg, grandchildren; Kiley, Kloey, Reilyn, and Cash. He was preceded in death by his parents. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St, Grand Forks. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the start of the funeral.
