Beth Ann Kramer, 54, of Grand Forks, died suddenly Sunday, September 30, 2012, in Superior, WI. Beth was born August 1, 1958 in Evans City, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Robert E. and Shirley (Simpson) Kramer. As the child of a career military member Beth grew up around the world. She attended many schools along the way and graduated from Central High School in Grand Forks, N.D. in 1977. She attended the University of North Dakota seeking a degree in Electrical Engineering. Beth worked a number of jobs until beginning her career with Wal-Mart in 1990. She was a very dedicated Wal-Mart supporter and employee. She worked her way through the ranks to a position that she truly enjoyed. For many years Beth worked around the country for Wal-Mart. She loved this life style as she enjoyed traveling immensely, experiencing new places and meeting new people. Beth made many friends while working around the country. Beth loved telling stories about her experiences. She liked to make others laugh and enjoyed hearing other people's stories as well. One of many things people will remember about Beth will be her laugh. She also loved animals. She had a special place in her heart for her pet dog Pudgie. She supported numerous animal/wildlife preservation societies. She was also passionate about supporting many health and research causes in hopes of lessening the impact of those conditions on future generations or even finding cures. For relaxation Beth immensely enjoyed reading. She also liked to crochet, knit and quilt. Beth was a strong family person. Having never been married she relished in the role of Aunt to her niece and nephew. She enjoyed hearing about their experiences and sharing their success stories with them. She was always excited to attend their events when she could. Beth will be dearly missed and every moment we were able to spend with her will be a cherished memory. We know she is at peace now and in the Lord's eternally comforting hands. She is survived by her brother, Robert (Denise) Kramer of Grand Forks, nephew Casey of Columbia South Carolina and niece Codie of Grand Forks, ND, and long-time best friend, Marlene Voltz of Galesburg, ND.
