Doreen Northagen-Kruse

Doreen Audrey Northagen, age 70, of Grand Forks, ND, passed away on Monday, October 8th, 2012 at 1:15pm at Park View Care Center in Buffalo, MN. She was born on a farm near Dahlen, ND on May 23, 1942, the loving daughter of Clifford and Hannah Jallo. She received holy baptism and was confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Quale Lutheran Church. Her devotion to the Lord was unwaivering. Doreen was married to Les Kruse for 18 happy years, up until his passing in 2007, which is when she moved to Buffalo, MN to be closer to her son and family. She and Les were a dynamic duo in real estate in the Grand Forks area for Crary Homes & Real Estate. She previously resided in Walhalla, ND, before moving to GF, ND in 1976 where she raised her three children, Lonny, Callie and Darrin. Doreen was a single mother who committed her life to her children and grandchildren. Nothing gave her greater joy. She never missed a concert, a performance, or an event if her children were involved. She loved her family so unconditionally and is a true inspiration through her life example. She is survived by her daughter Callie Northagen (Jamie Braboy), St. Petersburg, FL, and son Darrin Northagen (Lezlie Lund), Maple Grove MN; Grandchildren Makinzy and Casey, (Denver, CO), Tristan Loren (Florida), Paige, Hope, Blake (MN), and great granddaughter Violet (Colorado); Brother Myron Jallo (Mary Ann), Rapid City, SD, niece Marilee (SD) and nephew David (SD). Doreen was preceded in death by her son Loren Wayne, her parents Clifford and Hannah Jallo and her husband Les Kruse. We feel blessed to know that she is now reunited with them in paradise!
