Donna M. Roller

Donna M. Roller, 88, of Grand Forks, ND died Tuesday, October 9, 2012 in Valley Eldercare Center, Grand Forks. Donna Marjorie Offerdahl was born January 20, 1924, the daughter of Ingvold and Eunice (Peterson) Offerdahl. She grew up and attended school in Grand Forks and graduated from Central High School. Donna married Joseph Roller in 1945 at United Lutheran Church, Grand Forks. She also enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with her family, she was a great mother! Donna had many hobbies including, leather and copper tooling, oil paintings, working with stained glass and ceramics. Donna spent time at the Senior Citizens Center and enjoyed very much, playing bingo with her friends. She will be greatly missed. Donna is survived by: Husband: Joseph Roller - Grand Forks Sons: Bob (Vonnie) Roller - Bozeman, MT Bill (Cheryl) Roller - Bozeman, MT Daughter: Sandy (Mike) Baumgartner - Roseau, MN Brothers: Glen (Enid) Offerdahl, Largo, FL Jack (Jerrie) Offerdahl - Apple Valle, CA Sisters: Betty (Tom) Haley - Clearwater, FL Janice Thureen - Minneapolis, MN Lois (Don) Obie - Clearwater, FL 8 Grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lois Obie and a brother Larry Offerdahl. Memorials are preferred to the United Lutheran Church or the Hospice of the Red River Valley. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the United Lutheran Church, 324 Chestnut Street, Grand Forks. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the church. Inurnment will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery, Grand Forks.
